Colonel Dan Fulgham Stories

Col. Fulgham is Dr. Pat Fulgham's father.  He was an Air Force fighter pilot and worked on the early space program. He died in 2015 at the age of 87.  For several years Col. Fulgham shared his stories as an Air Force fighter pilot, early NASA researcher, and others.  His videos are shared here.

Dan Fulgham's first event was as a search and rescue volunteer for the Texas City Disaster in 1947.  Click on the photo above to watch him tell this story.

Dan Fulgham worked on the NASA Space Program in several areas, including development and testing of the space suit and the rigorous testing program.  Click on the photo above to watch the video.

Dan Fulgham participated in Operation Bolo in Vietnam in 1966.  He flew the F4C in this mission which was led by Col. Robin Olds. Click on the photo to watch the video.
